The term «Blockchain» pertains to a digital, distributed, and immutable ledger that records transactions and tracks assets across a network of independent clients.
The term «Validator» signifies the nodes that contribute to the consensus of a Blockchain. Validators are randomly chosen to propose blocks and must possess a certain amount of Staked assets to participate in a Blockchain network.

The term «Cryptocurrency» denotes a digital currency and/or digital tokens generated and calculated by a Blockchain network using cryptographic proofs.

The term «Unbonding» or «Undelegating» signifies the action of releasing Cryptocurrencies from a locked state with the Validator as a Stake.
The term «Unbonding Time» denotes the duration for which Cryptocurrencies remain locked with the Validator after a Customer has Undelegated («Unbonded») them. The specific Unbonding Time is determined by the ruleset of the Blockchain.

2. Services & Website
2.1. Blockchain Validation
w3coins offer, operate, and maintain Validator Nodes consisting of hardware and software to enhance the security of selected Blockchains. We provide customers with the option to Stake their Cryptocurrencies with our Validator nodes on specific Blockchains. By Staking Cryptocurrencies, users become eligible to receive Staking Rewards, which are distributed by the respective Blockchain’s distribution module, not the Validator. w3coins may deduct a commission from the accrued Rewards as a fee for our Services. The commission rate is subject to change without prior notice. Please note that Staking Rewards can fluctuate significantly and frequently due to various factors, including the amount of Staked Cryptocurrencies on the network.
2.1.2. Unbonding Time
Delegated Cryptocurrencies may have an associated Unbonding Time determined by the specific rules of the Blockchain. It’s important to understand that during the Unbonding Time (which varies across different Blockchains), users will not be able to utilize, transfer, or sell their Cryptocurrencies. w3coins have no control over these Unbonding Times and shall not be liable for any losses or complications arising from customers’ decision to Unbond their Cryptocurrencies.
2.1.3. Governance Decisions
As a Validator, w3coins can exercise their full pool of Delegations (Voting Power) to participate in Governance Proposals on a Blockchain. w3coins engage in research and discussions to make decisions in the best interest of their Delegators. If a Delegator disagrees with their Validator’s decision on a particular Proposal, they have the option to override the Validator’s vote by casting their own vote. w3coins cannot be held accountable for any voting decisions or outcomes of Governance Proposals on any Blockchain. The responsibility for Governance voting solely rests with the Customer. Voting on behalf of Delegators is a service provided by w3coins and can be overridden by the Customer at any time. While active participation in Governance aligns with our vision, w3coins are not obligated to vote on every Proposal and cannot be held responsible for not voting.
2.1.4. Slashing Risk
While w3coins strive to operate at their best and serve their Customers diligently, there is always a minimal risk of Slashing. Slashing can occur if unexpected errors occur in a Validator’s hardware or software, leading to the Validator being shut down without any action from the Validator. After a designated period called the «Slashing Window,» the Validator becomes Jailed (rendered inactive), and a portion of the Delegated Cryptocurrencies will be permanently deducted (Slashed). Additionally, no further Rewards will be paid to Delegators of the Slashed Validator as long as it remains inactive. The specific fraction of Slashing is determined by the Blockchain’s ruleset, and once Slashed, the deducted Stakes cannot be revoked or refunded by w3coins. To mitigate the risk of Slashing, w3coins_ employ multiple fallback levels, advanced monitoring systems, and incident response mechanisms. However, w3coins cannot be held liable for issues such as double signing, Jailing, inactivity, or instances of Slashing. The responsibility for selecting a trusted Validator for Delegating Cryptocurrencies lies with the Customer.
